The stunning, rich velvety, deep purply-red flowers of this new variety ‘Dibley’s Patricia’caught my eye in a garden centre earlier this year.  Having spent some delightful hours capturing these I then had to deal with the complex, furry and deeply cushioned leaves!!! Deep joy.

I designed this as a companion piece to my ‘Hellebores’ so they are the same size and style with the detailed graphite drawing in the background.

My originals are set in off white, deep-cut mounts.
