Solandra grandiflora or Golden Cup Vine or Chalice Vine is a member of the Solanaceae family usually found in Mexico and I discovered this amazing vine in the grounds of the fabulous Dar Al Hossoun, Taroundant, Morocco on my second visit and couldn’t resist drawing the dramatic, aromatic giant flowers and bud as a companion to the beautiful Beaumontia grandiflora I drew on my last visit.
