I just love drawing blackberries, they are like multi-facetted jewels; so many rich colours, so much detail and all those glistening highlights. Not to mention the detailed leaves and in this drawing I have chosen to draw the back of a leaf in graphite which I think adds depth to the picture space.

These contemporary images are set in light deep-cut mounts.
