UKCPS 10th Anniversary Exhibition

This is the start of my new resolution to do more blogs.  I want to let you all know that the UKCPS 10th Anniversay Exhibition on at The Central Methodist Hall, Westminster is a wonderful showcase of the best in coloured pencil work.  I went up on Sunday for the opening and was delighted to receive the Staedtler award for third best in show and was even more delighted to have this presented to me by Philip Glenister!!  The work covers a very divers range of subjects and there is a section for work done with mixed media, ie coloured pencil and another medium.  I was thrilled to get a Highly Commended in this section as well.

During the course of the exhibition there are many workshops and demonstrations everyday and there is a shop plus a large display by Faber Castell who are celebrating their 250th anniversary. Also the opportunity to buy Faber Castell products.  All well worth a visit.

I was also very proud to see several artists who have been to my workshops exhibiting and winning awards.  So congratulations to all of them.
