ASBA 20th Anniversary Annual Conference, Denver

Wow my first AGM of the ASBA. Four beautifully choreographed days at the Westin Hotel in the company of approx. 200 talented botanical artists. Yesterday, registration and welcome goody bag followed by an exhibition of small works with drinks and dessert.
Today Portfolio sharing in the morning, an excellent opportunity to see some superb work and chat to the artists.

Followed by a delicious lunch with speeches and then the Techniques Showcase which yours truly had volunteered for, very scary talking to a hundred people with a mouth microphone and cameraman filming. Hopefully it went well and nobody fell asleep as far as I could see.
This evening a gentle stroll down town to Lorrimer Square and a lovely meal with friends sitting outside on a fairly balmy October evening.
