Spain 2014

Another glorious week in Spain, anything to get away from the horrendous UK weather. We had sun, glorious food with lunch out most days, shopping good company and lots of excellent colouring in!

Some really excellent work in progress including some meticulous studies.

A moving moment when Gordon revealed the new bust of Basil, their wonderful dog sadly departed last year. The bust was a surprise donation from all the Finca guests who have grown to love Basil over the years he was at the Finca el Cerillo. The bust was commissioned from Andy Scott when he stayed at the Finca. He is well known for his monumental sculpture. Have a look at his ‘Kelpies, two giant horse heads in steel displayed outside Edinburgh.
