‘From Start 2 Finish’ covering 9 weeks – focusing on completing one picture 6 July – 4 September 2026

Join me on a journey to create your own complete, contemporary, plant portrait inspired by bold summer flowers, fruits or veg. You choose your own subject.

I never cease to be amazed by the quality of the work produced on this course which I have run several times over the last few years. I rarely get to follow progress this closely or spend so much time focusing on planning, designing, techniques and ironing out the wrinkles.

I will guide you step-by-step from composition to completed drawing.

• designing your composition from your choice of subject
• how best to record your plant material for reference throughout the project
• understanding the tonal values,
• choosing your colour palette with shade colours that work
• focusing  on drawing accuracy and fine details
• plus those final, finishing touches to complete your picture.
• All you have to do then is sign it ad buy the frame!

Nine Zoom meetings plus your own personal Sync.com folder for uploading your work before each meeting for feedback throughout the course.

You will need to set aside several hours between classes to complete your tasks for each week and classes may overrun depending on numbers.

Please note if you have done this course before that the finish deadline is 4th September giving you more time to complete your piece.
