Pushing the Boundaries- Composition Workshop – 3 & 4 June

Put the ‘Wow’ factor into your Botanical Portraits and the ‘Art’ into Botanical Art!

Strong composition is essential to creating memorable works of art. This is particularly so in botanical art.  Good composition can lift a work from the mundane to the sublime.

In this workshop we will:

• look at what makes a good composition – elements and concepts
• do some exercises to help you develop your own style
• create a framework within which to compose your work
• push you out of your comfort zone and get you thinking outside of the box

This workshop runs from 10.30 am-3.30pm with a buffet lunch (hopefully in the garden), teas, coffee and cake.
