‘Kiwi – Life Cycle’ – Coloured Pencil and Graphite Original

I love drawing kiwi fruits and have often demonstrated my techniques for doing this but when I started growing them in my garden and saw the delightful flowers they produce in spring and the wonderful rich colours of the stems and textures on the leaves this ‘Life-Cycle’ drawing started to grow in my mind. I used several techniques to create the different textures and I chose graphite for the leaf behind the flowers and buds to focus attention on them.
