Trillium cuneatum

Trillium cuneatum, grown by me and now a portrait without a white background!!  I achieved this faded background effect using a minute amount of baby oil to smooth a very small layer of colour and remove some to achieve a softer, feinter background whilst keeping the flower and leaves in full strength colour.  I hope it works!!
