New Pencils

How excited am I? These lovely pencils have just arrived from Japan and I am now busy sharpening and doing a colour swatch prior to testing them out. Initial impression is that they are fairly hard, sharpen to a very long point and lay down smoothly although they vary in colour depth. So far I have only tested half of the 100 pencils and some colours are very rich such as ‘orange’, other colours seem very thin. Also the names are rather strange ‘Jaune Brilliant’ is a soft salmon pink!
I’m glad I didn’t splash out for the limited edition box of 250.

Sorry forgot to say that these are Mitsubishi Uni pencils!
