Some of the excellent work completed during the last couple of days on my Creative colour Mixing workshop. Apologies for not squeezing everyone into the photo but all the work was of a very high standard considering the amount we covered in a short space of time.
Thanks to everyone on the course for making me so welcome and for working so hard.
The following is the beginning of my demo piece for the composition element of the workshop. Vibrant ruby chard.
I have to confess to experiencing difficulty achieving the luminosity of the chard stem. I am trying an underpainting of Prismacolor Neon Pink under Dahlia Purple with alcohol based solvent.
I’ll keep you posted if it doesn’t go in the bin!!
